Re: Petition for an initiative for an immigration Pardon            Project in favor of Venezuelan Citizens residing in the United States

Dear President Obama,

Attached please find an initiative of an Inmigration Pardon Project for the Venezuelan citizens currently residing in the United States without legal status which we respectfully submit to you for your consideration.

In light of the fact that today we celebrate the birthday of Mahatma Gandhi and the International Day of the Non Violence- (UN General Assembly Resolution A/61/1.62), we find it fitting to present to you this request on behalf of the citizens of Venezuela who desire to live in a democratic country with liberties and justice for all.

We will be submitting as part of this initiative our supporting brief for your review where we will present detailed information regarding the armed conflict currently in existence in Venezuela, the systematic political and economic persecution of which it’s citizens are victims, as well as the existence of devastating natural disaster which left hundreds of thousands homeless.

On behalf of all the Venezuelan citizens residing in the United States, thank you for all of your support, and we look forward to your prompt response.
